Dr. Carlee Young, O.D, F.A.A.O.
Fellow at American Academy of Optometry
Dr. Carlee Young is a Frisco native, and we are excited to welcome her back as the first fellowship trained pediatric optometrist in the Frisco Area. Dr. Young was also part of the Frisco Eye Associates team as an optometric technician before pursuing her optometry degree, and she is excited to be returning home to serve the community she loves. “Frisco Eye Associates is where my interest in optometry began and I am thrilled to be returning to my hometown and bringing my passion for pediatric optometry to the Frisco community”.
Dr. Young received her Bachelor of Arts in History from Austin College. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Young then completed a residency in pediatric optometry at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Anaheim, California. Dr. Young has also obtained fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry. She is among some of the youngest and brightest optometrists in the nation, and we are very lucky to have her on our team. She enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
